I was once a small business owner who believed that “if there’s money in the bank, the business must be doing fine.” When investors approached me with an opportunity to scale, I realized I had no financial reports, no reconciled books, and no real understanding of how my business was performing. That lack of clarity cost me a life‑changing opportunity—and eventually, my business itself.

Losing something I had built with my own hands was painful, but it also changed everything. It showed me how powerful financial understanding truly is, and how many small business owners are operating without it.

I made a promise to myself: no other small business owner should lose out simply because they don’t understand their numbers.

So I learned everything I could about business operations, finance, and organizational systems. I went on to lead and support small and mid‑sized companies, eventually serving as a COO. Through every role, one truth became clear—my passion is helping people understand their business so they can grow with clarity and confidence
